Description:
Tantalum oxide (Ta2O5) is a typical wide band gap semiconductor.
In recent years, tantalum oxide has many applications in electrode materials for energy storage devices such as lithium-ion, sodium-ion batteries, and super capacitors.
Studies have shown that tantalum oxide / reduced graphene oxide composite catalyst material will become one of the very promising cathode catalysts for lithium-air batteries; Tantalum Oxide and carbon materials after co-ball mill process would improve the electrical conductivity and safety of the anode material. The performance also has the characteristics of high electrochemical reversible capacity of the electrode material, and is expected to become a new generation of high capacity lithium ion battery negative electrode material.
Tantalum oxide has photocatalytic property, and the use of co-catalysts or composite catalysts can improve its photocatalytic activity.
Storage Condition:
Ta2O5 Tantalum Oxide Nanopowders should be well sealed, be stored in cool, dry place, avoid direct light. Room temperature storage is OK.
