2. As a conductive material: in the electrical industry for the manufacture of electrodes, brushes, carbon rod, carbon tubes, mercury cathode current of positive, graphite gaskets, telephone parts, TV picture tube coating.

3. For lubricating wear-resistant materials: graphite is commonly used as a lubricant in the machinery industry.
